NATIONAL INVENTORY OF ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE

Client: Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht

We were contracted by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to produce Phase 6 of the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage in Dublin city centre. In the region of 500 structures were recorded and appraised over a period of 3 months, including some of the city’s most prominent buildings along the north quays and historic docks area. The survey also included structures in Phoenix Park, one of Europe’s largest urban parklands. This commission followed several other urban and rural surveys for NIAH, including:

• County Wexford (urban and rural)
• County Kildare (urban)
• County Waterford (urban and rural)
• County Louth (urban and rural)
